The H.264 DVR is a simple one-channel recording device, which uses the latest and best encoder, H.264 for standard resolution videos. It's an affordable recording solution for those who already own a camera or any other video source. It looks similar to the Solo GPS unit, sharing the same aluminum housing, but without all the bells and whistles. There is no laptimer, GPS or G-force modules available, only one channel of super crisp video and audio. The 2.4" LCD screen allows for both monitoring and playback of the videos, so it can be used standalone without the need for a computer.
